Artist's Comments
Well...yeah, just something random to catch your interest. Actually, it's not that random, I made this for the *anthrochallenge contest. The theme is Elemental.
Now I know what you're going to say, "Wouldn't it make more sense to do a picture based on fire, water, earth or air, them being the real elements." The answer to that is yes, yes it would make more sense. But being the weird me I am, I decided to do something not common. Yeah fire, water, earth and air are the main elements and if I wanted to be original I couldv'e done ice, lightning, light, or darkness them being sub categories for elements. But again I'm strange so you get junk like this. The elements were believed to make up everything around us, but that was before we knew about gravity and sound waves. I'm sure the Ancient Greek people said something like, "The ground keeps us from floating away." and, "The air makes the sounds." Which for all I know could be logical, anyway, i just figured that you could classify sound and gravity as elements if you wanted to. Now that my rant's over, let's talk about my actual thoughts on the piece  Not more reading! Yes, it's good for you.I really really really really really like how this one turned out. I finally got to use my CS4 and complete a picture on it. I found a brush that I just love to pieces and a good tutorial for drawing without a lineart. Shocking I know. This one was harder than I expected though, foxtaurs have oodles of difficulties when you try to make them look anatomically correct, which is impossible if they were real, but since this is fantasy it makes it possible. So looking at this picture you can guess which on is Sound and which one is Gravity. "So why is Gravity more like a silohette compared to Sound?" Simple, because I like it like that, deal with it. "Why is Sound a girl and Gravity a guy?" Because they just are, stop asking me questions. "What's with the staff thing?" I'm not answering you anymore, LEAVE ME ALONE!!!  ".....I like it." I don't care if you like it! "I'm sorry." It's too late for appologies! "Would you like a cookie?" AHHHHHHHHHH!!! I have too much free time. |

Yeah, the only concern I have is that they might not recognize them as elements because they're not traditionally considered elements even though I think they should.
